Hello everyone! I’ve been to Singapore last month for a long vacation and visited a lot of places including Haji Lane. I went there last 2012 but didn’t get the chance to explore more of the city so when I went there last October 2014, I grabbed that second opportunity to roam around Singapore and I was able to explore more of what Singapore has to offer.
Haji Lane is located in the Kampong Glam (Kampong means “village” and Glam means “glamorous”) area of Singapore. It is a narrow street filled with boutiques, restaurants, and other shops from Singapore’s local talented designers and entrepreneurs. Both sides of the streets are lined with shops with beautiful facade. Each shop has its own unique taste. From contemporary, native, to modern style. They got it all covered!
The best and cheapest way to get there is by taking the MRT. For directions, visit GoThere SG online map (This site is an awesome travel buddy, trust me.)
You know you are on the right track when you see this sign below.
Then, it is time to tag you along with me and let’s stroll along Haji Lane.
Ah oh! My Haji Lane stroll wouldn’t be complete without posing for the camera, lol!
There you go! I hope you had fun strolling virtually at Haji Lane. If you guys are planning to visit Singapore, don’t forget to include Haji Lane to your bucket list.
